Antique Rustic Swiss Italian Oak Trestle Table

• Made in the region between the Swiss and Italian border, circa 1910s

• Hand-carved of golden oak, a rare and heavy low trestle table with curved x-legs and a scalloped horizontal stretcher/beam. For reinforcement, the beam is secured with a hand carved wedge piece. Dowels are used throughout for additional strength on the table top and curved x-legs. They actually create a lovely decorative element for the table. 

• 3 plank table top with an extremely thick slab of 1 1/2" W

• This piece was gently cleaned and then hand polished with Bri-wax

• Dimensions: 38 1/2" L X 18 1/4" W X  20 1/2" H
